Priest Racial Spells & Abilities
Level 10 & Level 20 Racial Quest Spells Across All 6 Priest Races
Priest is the only class in World of Warcraft with unique racial spell kits unlocked at Levels 10 and 20. In WoW Forever, Fear Ward is baseline for all Priests, liberating character choice while introducing the brand-new Skyborne elemental storm racials and the reworked Dwarven Chastise.
Fear Ward is Now Baseline for All Priests
In WoW Forever Patch 1.60.1, Fear Ward is learned directly from Priest trainers by ALL races at Level 20. This historic change completely removes the mandatory Dwarf requirement from Vanilla raiding rosters, liberating players to choose any race.
Play Human, Night Elf, Troll, Undead, or Skyborne without getting declined from raid groups.
Dwarves receive a brand-new ranged incapacitate & interrupt spell on a 30-second cooldown.
Horde Undead, Troll, and Skyborne Priests can now ward tanks against Magmadar, Onyxia, and Nefarian fears.
Human Priest
Devout servants of the Holy Light wielding Desperate Prayer emergency triage and Feedback mana burn disruption.
Human Priests in WoW Forever represent the quintessential Alliance healer. Paired with The Human Spirit (+5% Spirit & 10% chance to refund 1% base mana on cast) and Perception stealth radar, Humans boast exceptional mana regeneration longevity and clutch emergency self-healing through Desperate Prayer.
Exclusive Racial Spells (2)
Instantly heals the caster for 152 to 189 (scaling with rank and +Healing). Costs no mana and is instant cast.
The priest becomes surrounded with anti-magic energy. Any successful spell cast against the priest burns 105 of the attacker's mana and causes 105 Shadow damage. Lasts 15 sec.
Human Spirit +5% stacks multiplicatively with Spiritual Guidance (25% Spirit converted to +Healing and +Spell Damage), giving Humans the highest passive spell power per gear point.
Active Perception enables Human Priests to detect stealthed Rogues and Druids before they can open with Cheap Shot or Pounce.
Desperate Prayer: Pick up 'In Search of the Temple' from Priest trainers in Northshire / Goldshire, leading to High Priestess Laurena in Stormwind Cathedral.
Feedback: Speak with Brother Joshua in Stormwind Cathedral to complete the trial of divine reflection.
Dwarf Priest
Stout disciples of Ironforge wielding Stoneform bleed immunity, Desperate Prayer, and the newly added Chastise.
With Fear Ward now baseline across all Priests in WoW Forever, Dwarven Priests have been redesigned with a fresh offensive and crowd-control identity. Dwarves retain Desperate Prayer and gain Chastise—an instant-cast holy disorient and interrupt—while Stoneform offers unmatched immunity to Bleeds, Poisons, and Diseases.
Exclusive Racial Spells (2)
Instantly heals the caster for 152 to 189 (scaling with rank and +Healing). Costs no mana and is instant cast.
Chastises the target with holy energy for 150 to 180 Holy damage and incapacitates them for up to 2 sec. Any damaging attack will break the effect.
Cleanses Blind (which counts as a Poison in Classic), Viper Sting mana drains, and lethal Bleeds like Moroes Garrote, keeping the Priest mobile and unencumbered.
Chastise's 2-second incapacitate guarantees landing a full Mind Blast or Holy Fire cast without fear of pushback or kick interrupts.
Desperate Prayer: Visit High Priest Rohan in Ironforge's Mystic Ward after completing the Coldridge Valley novice trials.
Chastise: Undertake the trial 'Sanctified Resolve' in Old Ironforge to channel the divine power of the mountain kings.
Night Elf Priest
Priestesses of the Moon weaving lunar Starshards DoT pressure, Shadowmeld drink-stepping, and Elune's Grace evasion.
Night Elf Priests channel the raw celestial power of Elune. In Patch 1.60.1, Starshards has been upgraded to an instant Arcane DoT that ticks freely without channeling constraints. Paired with Shadowmeld for tactical combat drops and stealth-drinking, Kaldorei Priests offer unmatched tactical finesse.
Exclusive Racial Spells (2)
Rains starshards upon the target's head, causing 156 Arcane damage over 6 sec. Does not require channeling and scales with Spell Power.
Calls upon the grace of Elune to reduce ranged damage taken by 35 and increase chance to dodge melee attacks by 10% for 15 sec.
Access to Arcane (Starshards), Holy (Smite/Heals), and Shadow (Pain/Mind Flay) ensures Night Elf Priests can always cast even if their Holy or Shadow tree gets spell-locked.
Activate Shadowmeld in dungeons or PvP to safely sit and drink water to full mana while remaining completely invisible to enemies.
Starshards: Seek out Priestess Astarii Starseeker at the Temple of the Moon in Darnassus.
Elune's Grace: Pray at the Moonwell in Teldrassil to receive Elune's divine blessing of evasive protection.
Undead (Forsaken) Priest
Masters of the Cult of Forgotten Shadow wielding Devouring Plague disease, Will of the Forsaken, and Touch of Weakness.
Forsaken Priests are the undisputed dread lords of PvP and Shadow DPS in World of Warcraft. Devouring Plague serves as a monstrous disease DoT that leeches 100% of its damage as health back to the caster. Backed by Will of the Forsaken for instant CC breaks and Cannibalize sustain, Undead Priests dominate 1v1 duels and raid meters.
Exclusive Racial Spells (2)
The next melee attack against the priest causes 64 Shadow damage to the attacker and reduces their physical damage dealt by 20 for 2 min.
Afflicts the target with a disease that causes 904 Shadow damage over 24 sec. Damage caused by Devouring Plague heals the caster for 100% of the damage dealt.
Casting Inner Focus before Devouring Plague eliminates its heavy mana cost completely and grants a 25% crit bonus to all 24 seconds of disease ticks.
Shadowform's +15% Shadow damage multiplier boosts Devouring Plague damage and self-healing into game-breaking numbers.
Touch of Weakness: Visit Father Lankester in Deathknell / Father Alysgar in Undercity's War Quarter.
Devouring Plague: Infiltrate the crypts beneath the Royal Quarter in Undercity to harvest virulent plague strain samples.
Troll (Darkspear) Priest
Voodoo witch doctors commanding reactive Shadowguard orbs, Berserking spell haste, and Hex of Weakness curses.
Darkspear Troll Priests are the ultimate turret casters and reactive shadow masters. Shadowguard surrounds the Priest with 3 defensive shadow orbs that retaliate without triggering GCDs or resetting the 5-second rule. Combined with Berserking (up to +30% casting haste), Troll Priests achieve blistering Flash Heal and Mind Blast cast speeds.
Exclusive Racial Spells (2)
The caster is surrounded by 3 shadows. When a physical attack or spell strikes the caster, the attacker takes 116 Shadow damage. Only one shadow discharges every few seconds.
Weakens the target enemy, reducing damage caused by 20 and reducing the effectiveness of all healing spells on them by 20% for 2 min.
Each Shadowguard orb discharge can trigger a 3-second Blackout blackout stun on enemy attackers and builds +Shadow damage stacks without casting a single spell.
When health drops in intense raid phases, activating Berserking accelerates Greater Heal cast times from 2.5s down to 1.7s, saving tanks from impending wipes.
Shadowguard: Speak with Witch Doctor Zalazane's rivals in Sen'jin Village, Durotar.
Hex of Weakness: Commune with Loa spirits at the altar in Spirit Rock, Durotar.
Skyborne Priest
Ancient stormchanters from Zephras Isle wielding Zephyr Shroud pushback immunity and crackling Tempest Conduit smites.
The Skyborne are the revolutionary new dual-faction race in WoW Forever. Skyborne Priests harness the turbulent celestial currents of Zephras Isle to bridge the gap between divine Light and raw elemental Storm magic. Their unique kit provides unmatched anti-pushback protection for uninterrupted heals and chain-lightning holy burst.
Exclusive Racial Spells (2)
Envelops the Priest in swirling gale winds for 10 sec, granting 100% resistance to spell pushback from damage taken and shocking any melee attacker within 5 yards for 65 Nature damage.
Calls down a crackling celestial storm bolt dealing 220 to 260 Holy and Nature damage, arcing to up to 2 additional nearby enemies and leaving them Electrified, increasing all Holy and Shadow damage taken from the Priest by 10% for 15 sec.
Eliminates spell pushback entirely during heavy dungeon AOE phases, allowing uninterrupted casts of Prayer of Healing or Penance while being attacked by adds.
The 10% Electrified damage debuff multiplies Shadow damage, making Mind Blast and Shadow Word: Pain hit with terrifying burst.
Zephyr Shroud: Commune with the Gale Elders at the summit of Skyreach Cliffs on Zephras Isle.
Tempest Conduit: Complete the trial of the Thunderous Crucible in the eye of Zephras's perpetual storm.
